Subject1.3.68 crashes if ethernet-terminators are removed
Date
From
Hi all,

our ISP's machine locks everytime if we remove a terminator somewhere
on our local ethernet. The machine simply locks, no panic, no oops nor
syslog messages.
We do NOT use nfs at the moment.
Maybe there is a timeout but unfourtunately the machine
has a watchdog which will reset the machine if it cannot fork()
a process every minute.
Hardware:
Asus P55TP4N / Pentium 100 (stepping E)
Ethernet: PCI DEC435

Any clues?

-Michael
