I keep several partions which can be used as a root filesystem. I
boot them from loadlin depending on what I doing. Some are quite small
(4M) but they are complete filesystems. I use some of them as "templates"
for other machines on my LAN (ie. firewall, terminal server, fax server,router
). This way I can test them before upgrading the other machines (some dont
have terminals or keyboards). Looking for /proc would not work for me.
