The standard Linux driver _was_ undoubtedly broken. Having finally got
to try it and the newer one in 1.3.7x together its clear enough, and the
new one was good enough I didnt end up in the **** when I needed to do
router profiling on a relic 486 with one of these contraptions, while
the original driver died on the spot.
