SubjectRe: Proposal: restrict link(2)

OK, so I've read the debate about hard links to others' files. Some
interesting issues have been raised on both sides. Personally I think
that people who are going to be programming suid had better know what
they are doing.

More importantly, what does POSIX say? I'm all for improvements that
don't break standards, but "safer than POSIX" sounds like "non
conformant" to me. I'm asking because I don't have the standards, I've
spent too much money on books already this month, and I don't know where
to get 'em for free. Anyone know?
