In both IPX and Appletalk the port allocations are done at the bottom level
not per protocol. This means your kernel enforces source/destination address
and port allocation (as well as what data channels you receive). What you
prattle on top of that shouldnt do any harm (actually you can zap netware
3 servers if you are good but thats a bug;)).
