It may be libc or umount related. It happens to me quite often on a
RedHat 4.0 system. I can reproduce it when I have /dev/ram or
NFS mounts (sometimes) and then reboot. I dont know if its /proc
thats causing my problem yet but the symptom is the same - oops on
shutdown.
