SubjectKernel panic after reboot
hello.

I just recomplied my kernel from 1.2.13 to 2.0.22. Everything is smooth
during "make config; make dep; make clean." But after i reboot my
computer, i got an error message said that vsf has the problem with
mounting ext2 and cause4 kernel panic.

I used my old kernel bootdisk reboot linux again, everything is okey. I
also check the file system, can't find anything wrong with the mounting of
partions. The only problem I can think of is the config of lilo.conf. Here
is the config of my lilo.conf.
"
compact
boot=/dev/hda1 #I change it from /dev/hda to /dev/hda1, am I right???
map=/boot/map
install=/boot/boot.b
prompt
timeout=100
image=/vmlinuz
lable=linux
root=/dev/hda8
append="mem=48MB"
read-only
other=/dev/hda1
lable=dos
table=/dev/hda
"
Please help me....

PS: IF you need to know more about other config, let me know.
Thank you :)
